How services work at Abigail's Family Monitoring Services

Our primary service is to provide supervision of parent-child visitation, which has been deemed necessary by the court system, CPS, or other means. Our goal is to assist in the reintroduction of a parent into the child’s life in a neutral, stress-free environment. Services are established by mutual consent of all parties involved and can only continue because of cooperation of all parties.

1. Before supervised visits can begin, BOTH the custodial and non-custodial parents MUST schedule an intake appointment. These appointments are conducted separately. 

2. The non‑custodial parent MUST schedule an intake appointment FIRST; only then will the custodial parent’s appointment be arranged.

3. Both parties are responsible for paying a $40 non-refundable fee for the intake appointment. During this time the guidelines of the visitation and the parents’ role will be discussed. 

4. THE FEE MUST BE PAID FIRST IN ORDER TO SECURE AN INTAKE APPOINTMENT. FAILURE TO SHOW FOR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WILL INCUR AN ADDITIONAL $20 FEE WHICH MUST BE PAID PRIOR TO RESCHEDULING.  

5. The approximate duration of this appointment will be 60 minutes. 

6. All current court orders MUST be provided at the time of intake or prior to the appointment.

7. Parental intakes may be conducted in person. In some instances, parental intakes may be conducted via video call. (i.e. Facetime/Google Meet/Zoom).

8. If conducted via video call, the party must be in a quiet place and have the guidelines accessible to read during this time.

9. During the scheduled time of the intake, all documents will be reviewed, and the parent will be required to sign acknowledging all the guidelines. This will also be the time when parents can ask questions. 

10. Once this process has been completed by both parties, then a visit can be scheduled based on availability. 

1. Only after a parental intake has occurred will a visitation be allowed to take place. 

2. All fees must be paid 48 hours in advance prior to the visit. 

3. If payment is not received 48 hours prior, the visitation will be cancelled.
